About Us
The U.S. Bilateral African Chamber of Commerce (USBACC) is a membership based organization that focuses on increasing bilateral trade and investment activity between Africa and the United States. By establishing key strategic relationships with decision makers, in the public and private sector, the U.S. Bilateral African Chamber of Commerce aims to work closely with business leaders, governments, and other organizations to support and empower companies doing business between the United States and Africa.
The organization encourages investments in all sectors in Africa, and fosters economic growth while trying to promote a positive image of Africa and Africans in the United States and internationally. The USBACC in addition effectively represents the interests of a rapid growing number of Africans residing in the Greater Houston Area, however we have a distinct membership in other parts of the country.
Members of the U.S. Bilateral African Chamber of Commerce benefit from networking opportunities, business consultations, and a range of training programs and conferences. The organization offers members a monthly newsletter, with information on the African business climate, procurement opportunities from other U.S. agencies such as USAID, USTDA, and the U.S. Department of Commerce.
Members are also given an opportunity to submit articles and promote their events and press releases, which will also be listed on the website.
The Chamber encourages all those who are interested in doing business in Africa to join the chamber and actively participate. Member-driven organizations such as ours will continue to promote the growth of business through networking, education, advocacy, visibility and benefits for all of its members.
